La Mer is a Mediterranean style complex overlooking the beach and ocean. There is full time security at the gate and the grounds are level making access to all the apartments very easy and safe. There is one flight of stairs up from your parking bay.
This is a front two unit in the complex with noting between you and the dunes of the beach offering wonderful views from a large outdoor patio across the front of this 114 sq m apartment.
You walk into an L shaped living area comprising dining room, kitchen and living room with doors to the patio with amazing views over the Sapphire Coast. Off to the rights is a short passage to three bedrooms and two well finished bathrooms. Built in a nook next to the kitchen is a lovely Rose wood bar and small entertainment area. The quality of
finishes is excellent.
There is a carport allocated to the unit right outside the front door with plenty of visitors parking. A club house and communal pool serve all units.
Amanzimtoti is a coastal town just south of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. According to local legend, when the Zulu King, Shaka, led his army down the South Coast on a raid against the Pondos in 1828, he rested on the banks of a river. When drinking the water, he exclaimed "Kanti amanzi mtoti" (isiZulu: "So, the water is sweet"). The river came to be known as Amanzimtoti ("Sweet Waters"). The Zulu word for "sweet" is actually mnandi, but, as Shaka's mother had the name Nandi, he invented the word to replace mnandi out of respect not to wear out her name. Locals frequently refer to the town as "Toti"
The town is well known for its warm climate and numerous beaches, and is a popular tourist destination, particularly with surfers and the annual sardine run attracts many to the beaches.
