On the way to the farm, the road winds through fruit orchards before taking the 4x4 route up the mountain. On the way up you already become aware of the indescribable natural beauty, the deep gorges with majestic rock formations.
Parts of the road were poured with cement on the way up to make the use of the path much easier.
Once u reach the top you will find the homestead, a spacious, comfortable one bedroom house. Not far from the house is a store and an apartment. Just a little further along the road you will find a double garage/extra accommodation. The
house's water is from rainwater tanks. There is a small pond fed by a stream within walking distance from the house. The pond can be greatly enlarged.
Here you become aware of the peaceful silence. All you will hear are the sounds of nature, the birds, the rustle of fynbos and the only visit you will get is from a curious wild buck. Tranquility !
Above all, you become aware of the paradise of so many different species of fynbos and different protea species which give beautiful flowers throughout the year.
The area offers beautiful hiking trails that meander through breathtaking fynbos and also carefully planned 4x4 routes to admire and preserve the vegetation.
With the endless views from over the mountain offers the opportunity to develop this farm into a holiday destination/ retreat.
