The farm also has a 3-bedroom main house, currently used by the manager, which can be kept private or added to the guest accommodation offering. A large, closed shed is divided into two sections and boasts a walk-in cold room.
The irrigation lands are equipped with a permanent sprinkler system and consist of 4.5Ha under lucerne and 1,5Ha under cash crops. A new permanent irrigation system has just been installed for the gardens, lawns and a small camp. Water is pumped from 4 strong boreholes (2 Eskom, 1 solar and 1 wind) into various JoJo tanks for domestic use and into two earth holding dams from where it is pumped onto the irrigation lands. The earth holding dams are supplemented by a gravity fed pipe from the stream.
There are a combination of old dry lands totaling approximately 44Ha for potential irrigation expansion. A further strong borehole was identified, but never drilled. Statistics for this hole can be provided on request. Water troughs, fountains and earth dams provide water in the veld.
The farm is host to a diverse array of indigenous antelope including kudu, springbok and duikers. The price also includes 8 Zebra and 10 Blesbok.
