Shonalanga is a proclaimed 100 ha nature area, subdivided into 19 portions of approximately 5 hectares each, and is part of the Chariessa Conservancy. Shonalanga is 20km outside of Nelspruit on the Uitkyk Road and is 1 100m – 1 300m above sea level (3-4 degrees cooler than Nelspruit).
