A recently constructed bright and airy home which offers stunning, unobstructed mountain views. It is situated within Cathkin Estates which is the largest private game reserve in the Drakensberg.
The kitchen is open plan to the dining and lounge areas and all have high ceilings and exposed beams. There is a separate scullery which leads out to a courtyard. The lounge has fold-away doors to both an open and a covered patio. The main bedroom, which is en-suite to a full bathroom, also accesses the covered patio. There are two further bedrooms, a second bathroom and a guest cloakroom.
The design preserves energy efficiency and maintains an optimum internal temperature. The external walls are Nutec board and the roofing is Zincalume. Tongue and groove laminate wood flooring runs
throughout the home and the bathrooms have stone tiling.
There is a double carport, staff ablutions and a storeroom.
No transfer duty will be charged.
Cathkin Estates was launched in 2003 and consists of five villages which are positioned in the northern reaches. In total they cover less than 5% of the estate thus minimising the impact on the environment. Field rangers monitor the electric game fencing which surrounds the entire reserve.
