TRI-MANDATE
This lovely modern home is designed to please all members of any family, with its attention to light, space, and function. The entrance hall introduces you to the beauty of the design with its rear wall of cut stone echoing the curve of the staircase as it floats gently upwards. Light flows in through the sliders on either side of the front door. On the left of the entrance is a bar with a shower room and toilet, which could easily be converted back to the fifth ensuite bedroom with its own entrance.

The light, but warm tints of smokey blue, light shades of grey on the walls with white ceilings are repeated throughout this upper level. Floors are light laminated wood. The second lounge is enclosed but with double doors of opaque glass, and includes a Mexican pot fireplace and bar with kitchenette. This is a lovely entertainment area leading out to a spacious al fresco dining space. To the side is a wooden deck with steps down to the lower garden.
Off this lounge is the splendid main bedroom with plenty of cupboards, a dressing room, sitting area, two vanities and a gas fire. A divider between bedroom and bathroom of textured Italian tiles in shades of umber and rich browns accentuates the beauty of this special room. The full en suite bathroom has a freestanding bath and twin basins.
It is a few steps from the first lounge to the other three bedrooms, which are all en suite and echo the textured tile and dark wood theme of the main bedroom. Fittings are top quality.
The landscaped garden is on two levels with the upper garden being a wonderful entertainment area with a boma / firepit. A well positioned braai room with pizza oven and gas braai overlooks the pool. Surrounded by indigenous garden and bush with strategically placed lights and a view across the green belt to the ocean, this is a charming venue for family and friends to get together. On the practical side there is an outdoor shower and toilet, and enclosed drying yard and sink. The lower garden fronts the quiet road, has a shady tiled walkway with a small lawn and flower beds.
Brackenridge is one of Plettenberg Bay’s most sought after lifestyle, security estates, and is beautifully maintained. Perched on the protected fynbos ridge, Brackenridge is committed to an ethos of environmental conservatism. A network of paths winding through the 128 ha. estate is a delight to residents who can walk and explore nature in safety, admiring the abundant bird life and sometimes spotting the small creatures such as buck, tortoise, mongoose and porcupine which have made their home here. There are fantastic views of the ocean at every twist and turn. The residents of Brackenridge are warm and welcoming, and newcomers quickly feel a part of this lovely community.
The next neighbour is the Plettenberg Bay Country Club and Golf Course which enhances the rural feeling. And yet the vibrant town centre is only a few minutes’ drive away, as are schools, shops, restaurants and services, and of course, the stunning beaches for which Plett is famous.
