The auction will take place at 11h00 on Friday 21 February 2025, and will be conducted live on site, as well as live online. Viewing of the property will take place on the day of the auction from 10h00.

This fully fenced property is approximately 38ha in size. It is situated on the Hectorskraal Rd just off the N2, approximately 5km from the town of Albertinia.

The farm boasts 12ha of olive trees, watered by way of a gravitational water drip system. There are a variety of olive cultivars, including Frantoio, Corotina,Leccino, Arbequina, Flavosa FS, Koroneikie, Manzanilla, Mission and Piqual. There are a total of 6000 olive trees. The first harvest of the olives took place in 2024.

In addition, there are approximately 2ha of trees infected with the Tuber Borchii Truffle fungi (better known as a whitish truffle or Bianchetto truffle). These trees are similarly irrigated by way of drip system. The first harvest of the truffles is expected in 2025/6.

Water availability on the farm is plentiful. There are 2 cement dams on the farm, as well as a natural dam, with water pumps. The farm has solar power, as well as a windmill and 3 boreholes. The sale also includes an 18kw generator for back up power, if needed. This farm is totally off the grid in terms of its energy and water needs.
