The borehole is very strong and combined with the rain water tanks, there is plenty of water available for the growing of vegetables or the watering of animals. The water troughs in the 2 fenced paddocks below the house are fed by the gravity tank.
There are a no of fruit trees such as Orange, Lemon, Guava and 3 Avocado trees.
Bathurst is situated 15km from Port Alfred and it’s beautiful beaches. It is a hub of art, history and quaint restaurants, surrounded by lush farmlands. This peaceful country style living and a wonderful sub-tropical climate are fantastic for the growing of vegetables and herbs and home to magnificent trees. Horse riders are a common sight around the streets of Bathurst. The Pig & Whistle and other lovely restaurants are at the heart of Bathurst and Bathurst is home to the Toposcope, the Agricultural Museum, Bradshaws Mill, Waters Meeting Nature Reserve and the Big Pineapple.
