This distinctive 1521-hectare farm occupies an elevated position and is ideally situated on the eastern banks of the Doorn River. Rainfall occurs mostly during the winter months with the odd thunderstorm during summer. An average of 200 mm precipitation is measured annually.

Vegetation consists mainly of natural Karoo-like shrubs, Karoo succulents, patches of various grasses, dense riverine thicket, mainly Acacia Thorn and Karee trees. This is Kudu and Eland heaven! A special feature, and additional food source, are the dry rivers that traverse the farm.

Accommodation is a small cottage which can easily be made habitable with little bit of TLC. Domestic water is sourced from a borehole fitted with a solar pump (not currently in use).

Farming in this area consists predominantly of livestock such as cattle, sheep and game that thrive on the natural vegetation. At present there are no farming activities.
