One of the best kept secrets in the Fouriesburg area is Destiny Castle – located close to town. This Castle are build on Caledonspoort farm link with Bestersvallei Farm. The castle is situated right at the top of the mountain and will offer you a 360-degree view of the Witteberg mountains and nearby Lesotho. There are many stories surrounding the castle and its origins. One being that the castle was originally built by a Chinese emperor.
There is a four-by-four (4x4) route that will lead you directly to the entrance of the caste. If you prefer air-travel, the castle has its own airstrip that is approximately 800 metres in length (the airstrip is suitable for helicopters). If you would rather prefer a thorough tour of the property, the Union House can provide you with various tour options
– there is a guest house located on the property if you want to extend your visit.

Caledonspoort farm are surrounded with 300 Ha arable lands and beautiful land scaping.
The property currently are used for an x-tra income and R6000 per night can be charged to
customer's staying over.
This Castle have been designed that a second floor can be build upon the existing Structure.
Although the owners never market this Tourist attraction they have plenty of European clients staying over
from time to time.

income on the Two farms with the Castle as an attraction for visitors or for Weddings to take place
with plenty of x-tra accommodation at Bestervallei Farm.
Caledonspoort farm have a workers house on and a second property that can be updated and be
used again at the foot of the Farm before taking up the 4x4 trial to the Destiny's Castle.

The staff house is located near the airstrip and consists of four on-suite bedrooms, a living area, as well as a one bedroom flat. The staff house can be used for staff or any other occasion that might arise. The property also offers undercover parking for up to six vehicles.
