The coastline of KwaZulu-Natal has become macadamia nut country. Many farms in the area have converted to planting them. This 3.88-hectare farm is right in the ideal location offering the perfect temperatures and humidity levels for the trees to thrive. The farm has been fully planted with macadamias (See Tree Specs Below) and has three 5000ltr water tanks that feed an irrigation system that covers 80% of the farm.
The sellers of the farm own a de-husking plant and are willing to offer the new owners to make use of their facilities for free for the first year. Thereafter, the new owners will need to find their own de-husking facility. The sellers, as well, are prepared to offer 40 hours of free excavation work for wherever the new owners may need.
A really great deal for anyone wanting
a head start into macadamia nut farming.
