Leeuwfontein farm is situated in the Balele mountain range in the Utrecht area and is easily accessible via district roads.The farm is divided into twelve camps of established high quality , natural veld grass, with abundant natural bush and thorn-veld. This is a low input farm with no extra winter feeding of bales necessary. It has high and low veld grazing, which can be utilizedin the summer and winter months. Two natural strong flowing springs provide the farm with water all year round. Dams( four of which are stocked with bass) and many smaller springs provide the camps with water. A large cement reservoir is well situated for gravitational water supply lower down on the farm. The area has very good rainfall, with the farm receiving an annual average of 850-900mm.
Two sheds, cattle and sheep plunge dipping facilities and kraals with cattle handling facilities are on the farm. There is no restitution or land claims on the property, as well as no labour tenants and/or cattle on the property. The area is relatively disease free wit an average carrying capacity of (3Ha/LSU), hence the large diversity of game species.
