IMMACULATE 168ha MACADAMIA AND BANANA FARM

The KZN’s coastal regions are the best in the world to grow macadamia nuts. This 168ha farm is situated in the Port Edward area and have no land claims. A farmer in the district won the award for ‘highest sound kernel over 100 tons’ in the country. This area is ideal for Macadamias. About 92ha are under macadamia trees. 4 varieties were planted namely, A4, 788, 816 and mainly 695. They are between 2 and 4 years old and 60ha is under irrigation. First trees will reach 6 years of age in 2023. There are 3 dams on the farm with about 240 000m³ water. Approximately 17ha is under bananas, delivering 40 tons per ha.

The farm has its own de-husking plant. You will benefit as it reduces on farm costs, increases harvest frequency and reduces kernel loss. The new building is 1400m² and a truck and interlink will be able to drive through. It is equipped with new machinery. The seller is a VAT vendor. The advertised price does not include VAT.
