The reserve is also home to many of the smaller mammals which you would expect in a typical savanna/bushveld biome such as warthog, bushpig, porcupine, brown hyena, and jackal to mention a few. A decision was made by shareholders to exclude large or dangerous animals for families and children to be able to jog, cycle and walk around the farm in safety.
