Nestled in a beautiful valley in the hills between Machadodorp and Dullstroom with some of the best trout waters in the area, lies Teal and Trout Country Estate. The estate consists of 1000+ hectares undulating highland hills. The fishing water consists of 18 dams which are regularly stocked with trout as well as streams meandering through the estate. Game on the estate include zebra, hartebeest, springbok and wildebeest, some very tame and frequenting gardens on occasion. Walking and hiking trails within the estate have beautiful views with bubbling water a constant companion.

The estate has a maximum of 40 individual stands, each of around 1 hectare and arranged in a manner not to impair your views or sense of privacy. Vistas of all stands are special and unique, some of Highveld hills, others of dams or streams. Teal and Trout Estate is accessed via the N4 and about 10km of gravel road.
